Community Grant Programs

In addition to community and marketing sponsorships, non–profit organizations across the country have come to rely on grant and underwriting support from our philanthropic arm, the Sprint Foundation. The Sprint Foundation is a separate legal entity from Sprint, and as such, requests for Sprint Foundation support are handled separately from requests for Sprint sponsorships. You can learn more about the Sprint Foundation here.

Sprint Local Grant Program

Since 2009, Sprint has offered the Sprint Local Grant Program in the markets of Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver and New York City. Through the 2014 Sprint Local Grant Program, three local 501(c)3 organizations in each market will be selected for Sprint grants (one each at $25,000, $15,000 and $10,000). Grants will fund programs that serve K-12 youth while using technology to provide a meaningful impact in the Sprint philanthropic focus areas of youth development (including mentoring, leadership and academic achievement), arts and culture, and environmental stewardship.

Grant applications for the 2014 Local Giving Program will be accepted from 9am CST on May 1st through 5pm CST on Friday, June 13th.

The Local Giving Program is available for non-profit organizations in the following metro areas: Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver and New York City. Click on each metro area to see eligible counties.
