If your plan includes Anymobile, Anytime calling, you'll keep getting unlimited calls to any mobile number in America while on our network. Will this work on my Sprint account or plan? Google Voice is available at no additional charge with Sprint's Everything Data plans. Standard Anytime Minutes, data, and text messaging rates apply to Google Voice services on Sprint phones. Integration is not available for corporate-liable, agency and branch-liable local, state, and federal accounts. Is Google Voice integration available where I live? Google Voice with Sprint is not available in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands because Google does not offer Google Voice services in these locations. Sprint does provide wireless service (check coverage) as well as converged voice solutions in these areas. Will this work on my phone? Google Voice integration is only available on Sprint-branded phones. PowerSource phones, and prepaid phones from Assurance Wireless, Boost Mobile, Common Cents Mobile and Virgin Mobile are not compatible with Google Voice. Do I have to have an Android phone to use Google Voice with my Sprint phone number? Nope. Any Sprint-branded phone will work. However, if you do have an Android phone you can use the Google Voice app for instant access to transcribed voicemail and convenient controls right at your fingertips. What if I decide I don't want to use Google Voice anymore? You can stop using Google Voice anytime; just sign into your Google Voice account, click on Settings, and click disable next to your Sprint number. I'm already using Google Voice for my voicemail. Can I keep doing that? Absolutely. If you want to start using your Sprint number as your Google Voice number, you'll be able to switch when you sign into Google Voice. Sign in to your Google Voice account, click on the Upgrade my account link, select I want to use my existing number, enter your Sprint phone number, and follow the simple sign-up process to get started. When you sign up to use your Sprint number as your Google Voice number, Sprint will use Google Voice for your voicemail, so you will keep getting your messages through Google Voice. Pressing "1" on your phone will take you directly to Google Voice. If you'd rather keep your Sprint number as-is you'll be able to keep them separate. What if I already have a Google Voice number? Existing Google Voice users with Sprint service can now display their Google Voice number when making calls and sending texts. You can enable this by clicking on the link next to your Sprint phone in your Google Voice settings page or choosing "Option 2" during integration. If you choose to use your Google Voice number when making calls on their Sprint phone (option 2) all calls displaying the Google Voice number, made from your Sprint phone will count as mobile-mobile minutes for you. They won't count as mobile-mobile minutes for the recipient. Calls made from the Google Voice website do not count as mobile to mobile minutes. If you choose this option, Calls made to your Google Voice phone number will be counted as calls to a landline and billed as such. If I sign up for Google Voice, will I be charged for text messages if I don't have a plan or add-on that includes text messages? You can send text messages through Google Voice on the web or through the Google Voice for AndroidTM app without incurring a fee from Sprint. Texts sent directly from your phone will be treated as any other text message, so if you are not on a plan that includes texts you'll be charged the standard messaging fees. Will multimedia messaging (MMS) be sent through Google Voice? MMS is currently not supported by the Google Voice integration, so MMS sent from your Sprint phone will always display your Sprint number and will not display in your Google Voice inbox. How does this affect International calling? International calls placed from your handset will be placed and billed through Google Voice at Google Voice's low rates.
