Yes, there are two ways to upgrade early.
Annual upgrades are always included with our iPhone Forever, Galaxy Forever and Sprint Flex Deals programs at no additional cost. You can return your phone and upgrade to the latest model any time after 12 payments.
Or if you chose any other phone and the $5/mo. add-on, you can upgrade after 12 monthly payments.
The $5 Early Upgrade option is available to customers who are upgrading a phone through a Sprint Flex or a lease agreement with a qualifying plan. The $5/month/line early upgrade option must be added within 30 days of activating your new phone.
After you've paid the $5 Early Upgrade option for 12 consecutive months, you can upgrade to a new phone. Giveback of your current phone will be required. See Sprint Giveback Program Terms for details. The charge will be automatically removed from your account when you upgrade your phone or pay off all of your Flex or lease agreement payments.
You can cancel the $5 Early Upgrade monthly add-on at any time. If you cancel, you can't add the option back until your next phone purchase with Sprint Flex. You will also lose the option to upgrade early if you haven't used it. Payments made prior to cancelling the $5 Early Upgrade option are not refundable.
Yes. You can activate a different phone on your line, or you can move phones to another line on the same account.
At the end of your lease, you'll still need to return or purchase the original phone, even if it's active on another line.
If you have an iPhone you will be charged a fee if you don’t turn off Find my iPhone prior to activating your new phone. Follow these directions: go to Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone > slide to off.
