FAQs about consumer landline decommissioning
After June 30 2017, Sprint will no longer provide wireline services. Due to changing market conditions, Sprint will discontinue consumer long distance services and the associated features. While we recognize that this decision will impact your current service arrangement, we hope that the advance notification will provide sufficient time to select another long distance provider.
To select a new long distance provider, you will need to contact your local telephone company. The local provider will advise of the available long distance service providers in your area and advise you of any additional instructions for selecting a new carrier. The telephone number for your local telephone company should be listed on the bill.
As a valued consumer customer, we would like to thank you for allowing us to provide your long distance service. We hope that you will continue to use Sprint for your other telecommunication needs.
