Yes. Sprint Global Roaming is only available on LTE/GSM capable smartphones.

You have Sprint Global Roaming enabled on your LTE/GSM capable smartphone, unless you have a different international roaming offer enabled. If you would like to learn more about your service or review other options available, you can visit sprint.com/sww or chat with a representative. You may also view options by logging into My Sprint.

Sprint Global Roaming is not eligible with other international roaming plans. If there are no other international roaming plans on your account, then Sprint Global Roaming is enabled for your use with capable smartphones.

No. Sprint Global Roaming provides data speeds up to 2G. For faster data speeds, you can purchase high-speed data passes.

Sprint will not add the new Sprint Global Roaming to your line of service if your account has any existing international roaming service. The service is not compatible with other international roaming services at this time. Please chat with a representative to discuss international options.

You will have voice and text services available without action; however, you will need to opt in to enable data services. Check sprint.com/sww for a complete list of rates per country.

Sprint Global Roaming includes data with speeds up to 2G, but sometimes when you travel, you need faster data.
High-speed data passes give you data up to LTE speeds with no overage charges. Most destinations offer a one day pass (24 hours) or a one week pass (7 days). Once your data pass time ends, you will revert back to the basic data roaming 2G speeds.

You can add a high-speed data pass at any time while you are traveling in a few simple clicks. Simply click the link in the welcome text message provided upon arrival to your destination, and choose your data experience.

High-speed data options are available for purchase on your smartphone, via the Welcome SMS message that was sent when you arrived at your destination. Select the speed you need with inexpensive options for single day and/or weeklong high-speed experiences

When your pass expires, your data speed will revert back to basic roaming 2G speeds that comes at no additional charge with the Sprint International High-Speed Data Roaming Pass.

Customers with existing International Roaming Add-ons will be required to remove the add-on to enable Sprint Global Roaming. This may result in a proration of the charges for the existing roaming add-ons when they are removed.
Important: Some International Roaming Add-ons my no longer be available and won't be able to be added back later.
