Should you choose to connect Apple Watch to the Sprint's cellular network, you will need:
An active iPhone 6 or later running iOS 11 or later
Sprint cellular plan. See below for eligible plans.
Good news - your iPhone and Apple Watch will share the same phone number, so you won’t have to get or remember another phone number.
Apple Watch has an eSIM (embedded SIM) in it, so there’s no need to get a SIM card or transfer the SIM from another device.
When you pair your Apple Watch to your iPhone, you will be prompted to set up cellular service and guided through a few simple steps. Be sure to have your Sprint account username/ID and password/code on hand.

If you choose not to set up cellular service during the initial Apple Watch set up process, you can always go back later to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select Cellular under My Watch to sign up.

Apple Watch seamlessly connects to the cellular network whenever it’s not connected to a nearby iPhone or Wi-Fi access point. Apple Watch supports voice and data over LTE.
Roaming outside your provider network coverage area is not available for Apple Watch even though your iPhone plan may support roaming. However, you will continue to be connected when your Apple Watch is in proximity of your iPhone or connected to Wi-Fi.
Sprint will sell only the Apple Watch (GPS+Cellular) Version, not the GPS only version.
Both Apple Watch and your iPhone will use your existing number.
All Sprint customers with an active iPhone 6 or later, running iOS 11 or later, are eligible to activate cellular service on their Apple Watch.
Customers on a corporate account who meet the hardware/software requirements above will need to contact the administrator who is responsible for their telecom account to allow management of companion devices on their phone number.

Find My iPhone
Find My iPhone is a useful feature that may be used to locate a lost or stolen iPhone, lock a missing iPhone to prevent unauthorized use, and remotely wipe an iPhone that cannot be recovered. iCloud must be enabled on the iPhone for Find My iPhone to work.
Note: You will be charged a fee if you don’t disable Find my iPhone prior to activating your new and returning your leased device.
