Solution

Msg 2106 - The destination email address is not in the correct format. Please correct the format and try again.  Make sure you are using the correct format for an email address (i.e. jsmith@gmail.com).
Msg 2108, 2109 or 2111 - The recipient you are sending to has chosen not to receive messages. Please contact the recipient and have them remove the block of your messaging. The block may be in the network on your phone number or in the device on your contact. This blocking is set up by the recipient not Sprint, and we cannot remove this block.
Msg 2110 - The customer you are trying to text is temporarily out of service. The recipient is currently unavailable, and we do not have any additional information.  Try again or contact the recipient by another method.
Msg 2114 - Message sent using invalid number of digits. Please resend using a 10-digit number or valid short code.
  1. Turn phone off and then back on.
  2. Clear any previous messages to or from the recipient. You will need to remove any text messaging threads from your phone that have this recipient.
  3. Remove the recipient's contact from all locations that may hold the contact information including Contacts, Call History, and any synced third-party website (Facebook, Yahoo, Gmail).
    Note: Complete steps regardless of a correctly stored 10-digit contact. These steps helps remove any connection between the network indicator of an error and the phone.
  4. Add the contact back to the phone.
Notes:
  • Do not sync the contact, error may occur to how the contact is stored in the third party website.
  • Do not restore any backups, contact may be corrupted on the backup.
Msg 2120 - You are not allowed to send text messages.
  1. Click My Sprint in the global navigation.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. If prompted, enter your username and password.
  4. Under Limits and Permissions, click Block texts.
  5. Click on the phone or device to restrict text messages. Choose the following option to block or restrict texts:
    • Do not block any text messages
    • Block all text messages inbound and outbound
    • Block all inbound text messages
    • Block all outbound text messages
    • Block only these numbers for inbound and outbound text messages
    • Allow only these numbers for inbound and outbound text messages
  6. To remove, select the Do not block any text messages option.
  7. Once you make your selection, the symbol will change to a green checkmark that says Updated
  8. Click Save. If updates were saved successfully you will see the following confirmation message: Thank you! We've saved your changes.
  9. Turn your phone off and back on for the new settings to take effect.
Msg 2124 - The message sent to recipient number <number> on <date> at <time> has expired and was not delivered. Please try again. This error occurs when sending a message to another Sprint phone and the recipient's phone is off or out of coverage for 72 hours. Try again or contact the recipient by another method.
Msg 2127 - Message sent to invalid destination. Please check your number and try again.   We did not recognize the recipient's phone number as being valid. Verify the correct 10-digit number is entered or stored in contacts when sending a message.
Msg 2128 - The message could not be delivered due to a temporary network error. Please try later.  There is a currently a network issue that is preventing messaging. Please try again later. 
Msg 2132 - The person you are trying to text is out of service.  The recipient's phone is disconnected or temporarily disabled for various reasons, and the phone is not ready to receive messages at this time. The recipient will need to check with their service provider to determine the reason.
Msg 2133 - You rec’d this msg because you sent a text to a number without the area code or used an invalid short code or you are blocked from using this service. 
  1. If you are using a 7-digit address, text messages can no longer be sent to a 7-digit number.
  2. Update the address book on your phone and any synced third-party address books (Facebook, Yahoo, Gmail)  to ensure all phone numbers have 10-digits.
Msg 2134 - The recipient you are sending to is on your blocked list. 

Remove specific number on the text Block List.

  1. Click My Sprint in the global navigation.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. If prompted, enter your username and password.
  4. Under Limits and Permissions, click Block texts.
  5. Click on the phone or device to restrict text messages. Choose the following option to block or restrict texts:
    • Do not block any text messages
    • Block all text messages inbound and outbound
    • Block all inbound text messages
    • Block all outbound text messages
    • Block only these numbers for inbound and outbound text messages
    • Allow only these numbers for inbound and outbound text messages
  6. To remove, select the number and click Remove.
  7. Once you make your selection, the symbol will change to a green checkmark that says Updated
  8. Click Save. If updates were saved successfully you will see the following confirmation message: Thank you! We've saved your changes.
  9. Turn your phone off and back on for the new settings to take effect.
