Enable/disable airplane mode on your device for the Apple iPhone Xr

Steps to enable or disable airplane mode on your iPhone XR

Airplane mode disables your phone's ability to send or receive any type of wireless transmission.

If airplane mode is turned on, your iPhone XR can't connect to the Sprint network.

  1. From the home screen, swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Control Center settings.
  2. Tap the Airplane mode icon to enable or disable.
    3. Note: The icon is orange when enabled.

Note: You can re-enable Wi-Fi and connect to a Wi-Fi network while Airplane mode is enabled.

Accts. without an active handset will incur $50/mo. charge. Includes unlimited texting on capable tablets and data.
