Enable/disable airplane mode on your device for the Apple iPhone 8 Plus

Steps to enable or disable airplane mode on your iPhone 8

Airplane mode disables your phone's ability to send or receive any type of wireless transmission.

If airplane mode is turned on, your iPhone 8 can't connect to the Sprint network.

  1. From the home screen, swipe up to the Control Center settings..
  2. Tap the Airplane mode icon to enable or disable.
    3. Note: The icon is orange when enabled.

Note: You can re-enable Wi-Fi and connect to a Wi-Fi network while Airplane mode is enabled.
