Troubleshoot issues related to data connectivity and your device for the Alcatel GO FLIP

This article helps you troubleshoot data connectivity issues on your Alcatel GO FLIP

You may have data connectivity issues if you're unable to:

  • Connect to the Internet
  • Browse websites
  • Send or receive multimedia messages
  • Load Internet content within applications
  • Send or receive email

These steps help identify and resolve the underlying cause. After completing each step, test to see if the issue is fixed. If not, continue to the next step.

  1. Verify mobile data is enabled.
    1. From the home screen, press the OK
    2. Scroll to Settings and press the OK
    3. In the Network & Connectivity tab, select Mobile network & Data and press the OK
    4. Select Data Connection and press the OK
    5. Select On and press the OK
  2. Verify your Alcatel GO FLIP is connected to the Nationwide Sprint 4G LTE Network.
    1. From the home screen, press the OK
    2. Scroll to Settings and press the OK
    3. Scroll to the Device tab, then select System Updates and press the OK
    4. Select Update Profile and press the OK
    5. Wait for the update to complete, then test to see if your issue is resolved. 
  3. Reset your connection to the Nationwide Sprint 4G LTE Network.

Note: Resetting your connection does not erase any of your content or data.

  1. From the home screen, press the Dial
  2. Press Dialer.
  3. Dial ##72786#.
  4. Press YES. The phone will power off and restart.
  5. After it restarts, your phone automatically starts Hands Free Activation.
  6. After Hands Free Activation completes, your phone is ready to be used.

Note: To optimize device performance, be sure your Alcatel GO FLIP is running the most recent device software. Check for software updates.
