Sprint Return and Exchange Policy

Sprint Satisfaction Guarantee

Return Your New or Upgrade Device For A Full Refund

We love our products and services, and we think you will, too. With the Sprint Satisfaction Guarantee, you can try your new or upgrade device for 30 days (14 days for purchases before 4/5/19). If you aren't 100% satisfied, return your device and any accessories sold with the device in good, working condition to your original place of purchase (unless indicated otherwise below), and contact us within 30 days of activation (or within 30 days of purchase for devices purchased with no service) to deactivate service.

What’s Covered

Full suggested retail price (SRP) purchases - Sprint will refund the full purchase price plus any associated taxes and fees, less any applicable fees.

Monthly installment agreement purchases - Sprint will refund or credit any payments, including any applicable taxes and surcharges, made towards the cost of your device, less any applicable fees, and waive your remaining unpaid balance.

Sprint Flex Lease purchases - Refund or credit any payments, including any applicable taxes and surcharges, made towards the cost of your device, less any applicable fees, and waive your remaining unpaid lease payments.

What’s Not Covered?

  • Service charges, like:
    • Monthly plan charges
    • Charges for add-on services
    • Casual or out-of-plan usage charges
    • Related taxes and Sprint surcharges
       
  • Other charges and/or fees, like:
    • Spending Limit Program Charge
    • Paper Bill Fee
    • Detail Bill Fee
    • Activation Fee, unless service is canceled within 3 days of activation (the activation fee will be refunded as a credit on your account)
  • $45 Restocking Fee on applicable devices, unless:
    • the product is returned in its original unopened packaging or has not been activated
       
  • Damaged Device Fee, on applicable devices

Failure to return your device will result in all applicable devices charges being accelerated/applied immediately.

Monthly installment and lease customers who upgrade their device before the end of their installment billing agreement or lease agreement (e.g., a customer exercising an early upgrade option) may exchange their device within the 30-Day Sprint Satisfaction Guarantee period per the exchange policy below, but cannot return their device.

Devices returned with damage will incur fees up to the full value of the phone.

Devices received as part of a Buyback, Giveback or Trade-in transaction cannot be returned, even if the associated line of service is cancelled within the Satisfaction Guarantee period.
