Your App Experience

To continue using features like call screening and visual voicemail, you’ll need to replace your Sprint apps with their T-Mobile equivalents.

Includes Scam ID, Scam Block, Caller ID and one number change per year at no extra cost.

T-Mobile Visual Voicemail

Allows you to listen to and view messages in any order, on your phone. Available for Android only.

Things to know:

  • You will not see any changes to your Sprint bill unless you add new lines, finance a new device, or make other purchases.
  • You will continue to use MySprint (Web or App) to manage your account and pay your bill.
  • You can still use *2 to reach Customer Care or *3 to Pay your Bill by phone.
  • You will now see the T-Mobile Network indicator displayed on your device. Check your T-Mobile coverage.

  • While most of your apps will carry over and provide the same experience you have today, there are a few exceptions. Care or the In-Store Mobile Expert will get you set up with comparable T-Mobile apps.
    • If you swapped your phone on sprint.com you can complete this step yourself.
      • Android devices: The T-Mobile App Experience will automatically download to your device. Follow the prompts to install the correct T-Mobile Apps and remove the correct Sprint Apps.
      • Apple devices: Apps can be manually added and removed.

Call Screener

Scam Shield
(Includes Scam ID/Scam Block, Free Number Change, and Free Caller ID. You will need to re-add previously blocked numbers from Call Screener into Scam Shield.)

  • If any apps didn’t carry over, visit the Google Play or App store to download apps previously installed on your phone.

  1. Turn the device off and on. This should resolve any issue that occurs.
  2. Ensure firmware is updated. (See steps above)
  3. If the issue is not resolved contact Care/Chat.

You agree to update Your E911 Registered Address if you plan on using the Wi-Fi Calling service at a location different from Your E911 Registered Address. Be sure to update Your E911 Registered Address each time when accessing a Wi-Fi network with the same name (SSID) that may exist in multiple locations.

If you have gone through the T-Mobile Network Experience (TNX) process, the only option for updating the information is via sprint.com. See the steps below.

If you have an original Sprint SIM, you can update Your E911 Registered Address on your device in the Wi-Fi Calling Settings or by accessing your Sprint account online.

To update on your device:

  • iOS devices: Go to Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling > Update Emergency Address.
  • Android devices: Go to Settings > Wi-Fi Calling. On some devices, Wi-Fi Calling is located in the Connections or Network & Internet setting. Find the option named Update Registered Location or 9-1-1 registered location. 

To update on sprint.com:

  • Log in to your account at sprint.com.
  • Find your device on the Account Dashboard and select “Manage Device”

  • Click the “Options” button for the selected device

  • Select the button labeled “Update Wi-Fi Calling E911 Address”

  • Update the address as necessary and click “Save”

  • Address can be updated anytime

Wi-Fi Calling 911 Address Update Process for Sprint Business lines on the T-Mobile network

The Primary Account holder or someone with Account Credentials needs to login to Sprint.com

Once authenticated, select the device that needs the Address updated and follow the steps below: 

  • Look for and click the + sign by the Plan Name

  • Wi-Fi Calling on icon

  • Click the option for Update Wi-Fi Calling E911 Address
    • Note: This option may not show on the page until 2 hours after the line has moved to the T-Mobile network

  • Wi-Fi Calling on icon

  • Update the Address information as needed and click “Save”
