Priority Status is a program that lets Sprint customers get prioritized fulfillment for the latest devices. It is only available in the My Sprint app.

Only Sprint customers who are eligible to upgrade or add a line can participate in Priority Status. Valid Sprint credentials are required for accessing the program in the app.

Priority Status is open for a limited period of time after a major announcement of a new mobile device and before public pre-order opens.

There are basically two stages:

1. Priority Status is open, and you can select desired devices. This stage is a limited period of time, generally around 48 hours.
2. Pre-order opens. In this stage, customers can make final device and plan choices and complete their Priority Status order. This must be done within the first 48 hours of pre-order being open.

There are two time frames to be aware of. The first is that Priority Status is only open for a limited amount of time (usually 24-48 hours). A countdown clock should be displayed on this webpage when the program is active. The second time frame is after Priority Status ends, pre-order opens to the public. In order to get prioritized fulfillment on your desired device(s), you must complete your priority status reservation within 48 hours after pre-order opens. A countdown clock for that will also be displayed on this page when that part of the program is active.

There are several ways to confirm your Priority Status reservation. First, after making your reservation, you will immediately see a confirmation page. You will also receive a push notification and an email after you make a reservation. While in the app, click on “Manage my Reservations” to view and edit. Some people also add their reservation to their Apple wallet.

As long as you are eligible to add a line or upgrade a device, you can make multiple Priority Status reservations.

No. However, you can only get the benefit of prioritized fulfillment if you complete your Priority Status reservation in the My Sprint app within the designated deadline.

No. You may make changes to your Priority Status reservation during Priority Status and up until the time you complete your order during the pre-order period.

No. You will see the price of the device with no discounts or offers. When pre-order opens, you will be shown device pricing and offers that you are eligible for.

No. Priority Status gives participating Sprint customers prioritized fulfillment so that as inventory is available, these orders will be fulfilled first. That means if you order a popular blue phone through Priority Status and your neighbor orders the exact same phone through Sprint regular pre-order, you should get your phone first.

Sometimes there is a rush right when pre-order opens but you typically have 48 hours after pre-order opens to complete your order. Your place in line will not change. Besides just coming back later, you can also try:

1. Tap ‘Retry’ if prompted when opening your app.
2. Tap the profile icon in the top right-hand corner and select ‘Refresh’.
