What This Means For You

If you’ve received any emails or texts from us letting you know that you are affected by these changes, we want to make sure you have the smoothest transition possible. If you have a 3G-dependent device, you’ll continue to have service until the end of 2021. To prevent interrupted service, you’ll need to replace your device by the end of the year.

You’ll need a 5G or 4G LTE device to access T-Mobile’s biggest and best network yet. For a limited time, you can replace your current device with a new one for free.
