New hire/rehire working 20 – 40 hours:
Enroll! - Elect or waive elections for your benefits by the 30 consecutive calendar day after your date of hire - Failure to take action to enroll or waive coverage will result in you receiving default benefits
Benefit Effective Date - Benefits are effective on the 30 consecutive calendar day after your date of hire (except for disability benefits, which are effective as of the first calendar day in which you are actively at work for 12 months of employment).
Please Note: Employees rehired more than 30 consecutive calendar days after their termination date are treated like new hires; they become eligible for coverage in the Sprint Flex Plans on and effective beginning the 30th consecutive calendar day after their date of hire. If rehired within the same calendar year of your prior Sprint Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) coverage (not COBRA-continued) ending, you are not eligible to participate in the Health Care FSA.
