INGRAMS (Kansas City Business Magazine) selected Yijing Brentano among the 2010 Class of Ingram’s 40 Under Forty honorees.

Black Achievers in Business & Industry Award was given to Arthur Glass, Manager Applications Development - IT, and Mark Evans, Manager Sports Marketing.

CivilianJobs.com selected Sprint as the 2010 Most Valuable Employers for Military Award which recognizes employers who value military service experience and what it represents, provide a supportive work environment and programs which support the military, as well as career advancement. Sprint was a recipient of this award in 2009 also.

Sprint was awarded the Sustainability Leadership Award at 2010 International Electronics Recycling Conference & Expo.

Sprint was awarded the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) President's Award at the Fire Rescue International Conference in Chicago August 23-27, 2010.

Sprint ranked No. 6 in Newsweek’s second annual green ranking. The ranking recognizes Sprint for using renewable energy sources, such as hydrogen fuel cells, to replace backup generators at its cell towers, offering a portfolio of three environmentally friendly mobile phones, the most of any wireless carrier in the U.S., and being the first U.S.-based wireless provider to announce a target for reducing its absolute greenhouse-gas emissions.

Sprint received a 2009 gold-level award for the Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles. The award recognizes large U.S. employers for their continuing efforts to promote healthy work environments and encourage workers to live healthier lifestyles.

Newsweek magazine honored Sprint as a leading green U.S. corporation. Sprint was listed as 15th out of 500 on Newsweek’s 2009 Green Ratings list.

The Orange County Register recognized Boost Mobile’s Irvine, Calif. headquarters on its 2009 list of “Top Workplaces” in Orange County. Also received the category award for best “Work/Life Flexibility”.

The Orange County Business Journal recognized Boost Mobile’s Irvine, Calif. headquarters on its 2009 list of “Best Places to Work in OC”.

Sprint received a 100% perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for the 5th year in a row. The HRC CEI has become a roadmap and benchmarking tool for US businesses in the evolving field of GLBT equality in the workplace.

Sprint was named to Hispanic Business Magazines’ Diversity Elite 60 and was featured in the September 2009 Hispanic Business Magazine issue.

CivilianJobs.com recognized Sprint as one of the 2009 Most Valuable Employers for Military. The winners and finalists were selected based on surveys in which employers outlined their 2009 recruiting, training and retention plans that best serve military service members and veterans.
