Sprint was awarded the Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award for Business Service Innovation for Unified Services Enablement. The Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards are designed to honor innovative projects involving telecoms operators and service providers around the world, in association with their vendors and suppliers.
PC Magazine said Sprint’s MiFi card “is the one to get,” because “Sprint does a better job, makes it easier, and comes cheaper if you decide to get the Simply Everything plan with Mobile Broadband, which includes data, text, Sprint TV, and GPS Navigation.”
Dozens of reviewers lavishly praised the Palm Pre handset, which is offered exclusively by Sprint. The Wall St. Journal’s Walt Mossberg said: “The Pre was about as fast as my iPhone when using Wi-Fi, but, at least in the cities where I did my testing, its data speeds on Sprint's network handily topped AT&T’s data speeds on the iPhone.”
