Engagement and Work/Life Balance

Work Life BalanceFrom their first day on the job, Sprint employees are encouraged to take pride in their company and to identify how their unique skills and abilities can best fit into the corporation and its strategy. Everyone's job is valued, and we strive to ensure employees recognize the importance of their individual contributions. Our internal employee website, i-Connect, has a section that provides details of our goals as a company and our corporate accomplishments and provides information about our history to help employees feel a sense of pride in all we have achieved as an organization.

Since early 2008, we have had the same three corporate priorities: customer experience, strengthen the brand and generate cash. Our progress against these priorities is reviewed by our CEO at every quarterly employee meeting, which keeps employees engaged in our business results and allows them to celebrate successes and address challenges together. This consistency helps employees to align their work with these priorities.

Our 10 Sprint Imperatives are at the heart of our culture at Sprint and are reinforced by the actions of employees at all levels. The 10 Sprint Imperatives are:
  • Sprint Engagement and CultureDo it now
  • Delegate and empower
  • Be accountable
  • Focus on customers
  • Demonstrate teamwork and camaraderie
  • Compete like winners
  • Develop
  • Innovate
  • Act with integrity
  • Have fun

In this section of the website, you'll learn about some of the programs Sprint uses to bring its culture to life and meaningfully engage its employees. The primary areas we cover include:
