Samsung Replenish™ is Sprint’s first eco-friendly Android device and boasts access to more than 150,000 apps in Android Market. It was announced April 15, 2011 and available for purchase in early May 2011. It’s also the first mobile phone in the U.S. to offer an optional solar-battery charging cover that provides supplemental power to the device's external charging capabilities. The phone is enabled with Sprint ID, which lets customers personalize their device instantly with eco-friendly focused apps and mobile content. The stylish, full-featured Samsung Replenish features a touch QWERTY pad with a 2.8” QVGA main display, Android 2.2, a 2 MP camera and camcorder, a microSD card slot that supports up to a 32GH memory card and is Wi-Fi and GPS capable. The phone comes in three color options - onyx black, arctic blue and raspberry pink. Customers can purchase solar-battery charger panel, which can provide 20 minutes of talk time with one hour of direct sunlight. Customers can also separately purchase an EcoClear cover made from 100% Naturacell, a natural renewable wood pulp-based material that is non-toxic and phthalates-free.
