Since its establishment in 1989, the Sprint Foundation (the philanthropic arm of Sprint) has provided millions of dollars to community organizations across the country. A separate legal entity from Sprint, the Sprint Foundation is able to make a huge impact where it is needed most, supporting hundreds of organizations every year that focus on education, youth development, arts and culture, the environment and other critical areas. Through direct grants and a robust Matching Gifts Program for employees and retirees, the Sprint Foundation creatively and thoughtfully acts as a champion for our communities.
A quality education provides our young people with the building blocks they need to achieve success throughout their lives. That’s why the Sprint Foundation supports education programs across the country, with a particular focus on urban K–12 public education.
Our children face many critical challenges while growing up, and positive youth development programs such as mentoring and leadership training can help them make the right choices.
Our goal is to support both regional and national efforts to improve the communities where Sprint employees and customers live and work.
Arts and culture help unite us all, and Sprint, through the Sprint Foundation, is committed to making sure that funding is available to provide cultural programming, particularly programming that serves underrepresented communities.
