Sprint employees have really taken our company’s drive to enrich our communities to heart. Nowhere can this be seen more clearly than in our employee volunteer program. Through the volunteer program, Sprint employees are able to find volunteer opportunities in their communities that match their interests and skill sets. In 2012, Sprint employees contributed more than 129,000 volunteer hours to community organizations across the country.
In addition, in several cities, Sprint has put in place Employee Community Volunteer Committee’s, groups of community–minded employees who organize volunteer projects in the community and recruit Sprint employees to participate.
Sprint recognizes the important values that our employees bring to their communities through volunteering. For this reason, we offer Dollars for Doers, a program that provides Sprint Foundation grants to organizations that have received significant employee volunteer support.
