Sprint is committed to giving back to local communities and recognizing others who take their time to give back. That is why we have started the Sprint Local Giving Program. Funded through the Sprint Foundation (Sprint’s philanthropic arm), this program has two main components: the Sprint Local Grant Program and the Sprint Community Champions Program. The Sprint Local Giving Program is being implemented in the following metro areas: Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver and New York City. Click on each metro area to see eligible counties.
The Sprint Local Grant Program is an opportunity for an eligible 501(c)3 non-profit organization to request funding support to implement programs in the areas of youth development, arts and culture, and environmental stewardship. Two (2) non-profits will be identified in each metropolitan area to each receive a $25,000 grant.
The Sprint Community Champions program recognizes individuals that have made a positive impact in their community through volunteerism. In each metro area, we will recognize one adult and one high-school student, and those individuals will be able to direct a grant to an eligible 501(c)3 non-profit organization of their choice.
Disclosure: Employees of Sprint, employees of Sprint contractors, affiliates, partners, and other entities with a direct relationship to Sprint (“Employees”), Employee’s immediate family (spouse, parent, sibling, children) and household members of the Employee are not eligible to be a nominator or a nominee for the Sprint Community Champions program.
