Sprint Nextel's Commitment to Privacy

Sprint Nextel is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and is at the forefront of the work being done to address recent privacy concerns impacting the entire wireless industry. Our customers expect that we will maintain the confidentiality of their account information, and we work hard to secure their trust. Our actions include filing lawsuits against three companies that used fraudulent methods to obtain and sell wireless customer call detail records, and sending numerous cease & desist letters to other such companies. Thus far, Sprint Nextel has settled its cases against 1st Source Information Specialists and All Star Investigations (ASI), and has obtained Permanent Injunctions from these two entities, meaning they have agreed to never acquire, offer, sell or advertise the ability to obtain Sprint Nextel customer account information again.

Please see below for more information on Sprint's actions to protect customer privacy and learn about actions customers can take to protect their data.
