Sprint PCS^SM Wi-Fi Access is designed to complement Sprint PCS Vision^SM. The images in the tutorial that follows depict the Sprint PCS Connection Manager^SM Software with Wi-Fi that works with the Sprint PCS Connection Card^TM by AirPrime^TM (PC 3200), which is now being re-branded and offered by Sprint as the Sprint PCS Connection Card^TM by Sierra Wireless (PC 3300).

It is an enhanced version of Sprint PCS Connection Manager that includes modular access to Sprint PCS Vision services offered on the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network – the most complete all-digital wireless network in the nation, with data speeds averaging 50 to 70 Kbps – and Sprint PCS Wi-Fi Access, available in hundreds of Sprint compatible public Wi-Fi ZONES^TM across the country*.

Purchase a compatible 802.11b wireless Internet card or use a laptop with embedded 802.11b technology. If you're using a card, install the client utility and drivers packaged with the card or provided on the manufacturer's web site (Windows 98SE and ME users should always do this first before moving on to Step 2).

Install Sprint PCS Connection Manager Software with Wi-Fi. The software is available for free on our Download Site and will soon be available on CD-ROM for a nominal fee in select Sprint Stores.

Remember, you can also use Web-based Login with your Sprint PCS Wi-Fi Access Username and Password.

Follow the step-by-step directions below to make consistent high-speed connections in software-compatible Sprint Wi-Fi ZONES^TM.

*NOTE: An increasing number of international locations are being added. Sprint PCS Connection Manager Software cannot be used for access in most of these locations.

		You'll get this screen to indicate that you've installed the appropriate software. You will still need to establish your Sprint PCS Wi-Fi Access Account. You can go on to Step 3 to establish your account when you're in a Wi-Fi ZONE, or you can visit www.wifi.sprintpcs.com and set up your account ahead of time.
