Sprint's Digital Signal, level Zero or DSO/Voice Grade Service provides you and your end-user customers with a channel for transmitting analog signals within an approximate bandwidth of 300-3000 Hz. You and your end users can choose to terminate the service on a two-wire or four-wire termination.
Sprint has a long history as a telecommunications service provider and has experienced teams of associates who install and maintain Voice Grade services. Sprint monitors the network constantly to detect service outages, and offers a wide range of optional features and functions.
With Sprint's DSO/Voice Grade Service, you and your end users may:
Sprint's DSO/Voice Grade Service provides you with a dedicated connection to another location for a flat monthly fee, thereby avoiding minute-of-use charges. The service is provided at transmission speeds of between 30 to 3000 Hz capable of carrying voice and data communications.
Many optional features are available with Voice Grade service such as Bridging, C-Type Conditioning, DA-Type Conditioning and Improved Termination.
Voice Grade services is suited for you if you need relatively simple voice and data communications solutions. Due to the bandwidth limitation of about 3000 Hz, your customers needing to transport more bandwidth-intensive voice and data communications should consider products such as Digital Data, DS1 and DS3 services capable of supporting higher transmission speeds.
