CCS/SS7 Gateway Signaling

Back to Products & Solutions

Overview

Sprint's Common Channel Signaling/Signaling System 7 (CCS/SS7) Gateway Signaling service allows you to have a single interface with Sprint's Local Telecommunications Division's (LTD) CCS/SS7 network, allowing you to ISUP (Integrated Services User Part) signal with Sprint's end offices or to access Sprint databases. You must connect to Sprint's CCS/SS7 network to signal with Sprint to terminate calls or access Sprint's database services.

Sprint's Integrated Network Operations (INO) provides customer support and network monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our network is reliable because our Signal Transfer Points (STPs) are dual and link sets are redundant and diversified.

With Sprint's CCS/SS7 Gateway Signaling service, you may:

  • Simplify service connections by using one point of interface to access CCS/SS7 Signaling services.
  • Reduce expenditures by lessening the number of circuits you have to purchase.

Features & Benefits

  • One point of interface at a STP (Signal Transfer Point) pair for access to Sprint's CCS/SS7 Signaling Services - simplifies service connections.
  • Network-to-network interconnection at one location of STP pair rather than multiple STP pair locations - reduces the number of links (circuits) you must purchase.
