Flatiron Prow Artspace

The Flatiron Prow Artspace houses artwork reflecting Sprint's commitment to eco-friendly living.

Sprint offers unique art showcase

New York City's iconic, triangular Flatiron building – long a favorite subject of photographers and artists – is now a showcase itself.

Sprint has converted the glass-walled, ground floor exhibit space adjacent to its Flatiron retail store into a gallery.

The Flatiron Prow Artspace will house artwork that is as unique and engaging as the building itself, with an emphasis on pieces that reflect the company's commitment to eco-friendly living, technology and interaction.

The current exhibit features an installation of drawings on upcycled paper coffee cups. The artist will also sit in the display space five days a week, illustrating coffee cups and adding to the installation.

Now showing: Gwyneth Leech

Gwyneth Leech is the latest artist to display work in the Sprint Flatiron Prow Artspace.

"The Cup Drawings" – illustrations on upcycled take-out paper coffee cups, inspired by mobile technology and the rapid pace of 21st century life – is on display through the end of 2011.
