Wall Street Journal columnist Walt Mossberg called Sprint’s HTC Hero “the best Android phone I’ve tested, and a worthy competitor to the iPhone, the BlackBerry and the Pre.”
In October, at the CTIA convention, the Samsung Reclaim was given the “Hottest in Show” award. Sprint’s MiFi won the award as “Hottest Mobile Internet Device,” and the HTC TouchPro 2 was named “Hottest Smartphone.”
PC Magazine said Sprint’s MiFi card “is the one to get,” because “Sprint does a better job, makes it easier, and comes cheaper if you decide to get the Simply Everything plan with Mobile Broadband, which includes data, text, Sprint TV, and GPS Navigation.”
Dozens of reviewers lavishly praised the Palm Pre handset, which is offered exclusively by Sprint. The Wall St. Journal’s Walt Mossberg said: “The Pre was about as fast as my iPhone when using Wi-Fi, but, at least in the cities where I did my testing, its data speeds on Sprint's network handily topped AT&T's data speeds on the iPhone”
