Green Building

Sprint’s Operational Headquarters in Overland Park, Kan., has received a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). LEED Certification is a nationally accepted program for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.  In constructing the facility Sprint implemented practices to ensure future construction will have minimal environmental impacts.

"LEED Certified buildings are more energy-efficient, use less water and fewer resources, and promote the well-being of the occupants. Sprint's successful incorporation of sustainable design features into their new building proves their commitment to the health of their employees, the surrounding community and the planet."
