UIFN customers requesting the purchase of a new UIFN number(s) will apply for UIFNs through Sprint. Applications will be submitted to the International Telecom Union (ITU), in Geneva, by Sprint, on behalf of the customer. Sprint, on behalf of the ITU, will charge an ITU number request fee equal to approximately $160U.S. per application. 1 UIFN number may be requested per application. Randomly available or specific number requests may be made through the application. The customer will own assigned numbers from that point on. Customers must use their numbers in accordance with ITU guidelines. Numbers without usage may be reclaimed by the ITU.
